A Working Northumberland Farm

Grangemoor Barn is located on a 300 acre working farm in rural Northumberland. Situated within a mile of the village of Scots Gap, near Morpeth, the farm is run by the Walton family.

We have cattle, sheep, ponies, geese, ducks and hens living on our farmland. There is always something happening at the farm! We have lambing in April-May and calving in the winter season. Grangemoor Barn is ideal for families and you may be lucky to see a newborn lamb or calf on your stay. During your holiday (upon prior arrangement), you may be able to visit the farm and see the animals up close.

We have a number of our own ponies stabled here and we also have facilities for you to bring your own horse. We can accommodate up to six horses (by prior arrangement) during your stay with us.

Please contact us if you would like to have your horse with you during your holiday with us. We can provide stabling, hay and straw (additional cost) and we have a large paddock. Perfect, if you wish to go out for the day and leave your horse behind in a safe, secure environment. There is also a bridleway that runs through the farm.

We know a number of local walks, rides and places to visit in the surrounding areas. We are ideally positioned to access the very best of Northumberland.
